What is "party plan" sales?
Party plan is a type of direct selling that has proven to be one of the most effective and customer service oriented methods in existence. Our Hostesses invite friends and guests into there home or workplace and our independent consultants display the products for purchase. Celebration Fashions uses the party plan method as its main method of sales but catalogue, internet and person to person sales are also used.
What is "Direct Sales"?
Direct Sales is the sale of a consumer product or service, person-to-person, away from a fixed retail location. These products and services are marketed to customers by independent salespeople, in our case, Consultants sell through the Home Party Plan. This distribution system is growing rapidly and accounts for $28.7 billion in 2002, which is double the volume of 1992.*
We have applied for membership in the "Direct Selling Association", (DSA) and are awaiting approval, through their rigorous one-year process. The DSA is the national trade association of the leading direct selling firms. The DSA's mission is "To protect, serve and promote the effectiveness of member companies and the independent business people they represent and work with state and federal agencies to ensure that the public is protected form illegal pyramid schemes.
The direct selling industry is now a part of the curriculum at prestigious universities like the Harvard Business School and receives favorable reviews in magazines such as Fortune and newspapers like USA Today. Large established retailers are also branching out into direct sales through the establishment of their own direct sales divisions, and companies such as Berkshire Hathaway have invested in the industry. The Pampered Chef, a party plan direct sales company, as an example, is a Berkshire Hathaway company.
Can I sell Celebration Jewelry in a Retail Outlet?
Celebration Fashions are sold exclusively by our independent consultants and cannot be sold in retail stores.
Do I need Sales experience?
Most of our successful consultants had no sales experience before joining Celebration Fashions. Jewelry literally sells itself and if you can wear it, you can sell it. Our training programs cover all the details of building and working your business so it's easy and fun to learn and grow with us.
How much time will it take?
You work the business according to your own personal needs and goals, whether it's a fun part time business or a career that could earn you six figure incomes. It's entirely up to you. Through our training programs and your sponsors help, you can develop a plan that fits your needs!
Will I be employed by Celebration Fashions?
No. As a Celebration Fashion's Consultant, you will be an independent business person owner. You will be responsible for filing your own Federal and State income tax. You also may be eligible to take advantage of the tax savings from running a home-based business. Please consult your accoutant for information.
How Much Can I Earn?
At Celebration Fashions we have developed our compensation plan to focus on enabling our Consultants to earn the highest possible income for their invested time. As an example, if you averaged just one home show a week and your show sales averaged $300 per show, you will earn approximately $600 a month for a total of 3 to 4 hours of work per week. That is about $37.00 an hour and as you gain experience your show sales will increase!

Celebration Fashions pays one of the highest retail commissions in the industry. 50% on the value of all retail sales! In addition, we ship directly to each of your show guest eliminating time and expense for both you and your Host.
When do I get paid?
You keep your 50% retail profits the night of the show. There is no waiting for commissions to be calculated or sent to you!
Besides Retail Sales Commissions are there other sources of income?
Absolutely! One of the most exciting parts of Celebration Fashions career plan is its sales team override program. By sharing our business opportunity with others you begin earning override commissions on the sales of the consultants that you sponsor. This override commission program begins as soon as you sponsor your very first team member.
Is there a leadership program available for those who want to build a large sales team?
Yes! Through sponsoring and training those you introduce to the business you can move as quickly as you want up through our leadership positions. What methods do Consultants use to find new recruits?
From experience, almost all of your new recruits will come from the people that attend your home shows. When others see our great product line and how much fun our business is, it is easy to introduce them to the business opportunity. Once you begin speaking to those you know in your daily life, you will be surprised at how many people are interested in earning a part-time income or possibly looking for a new career opportunity. Never pre-judge anyone's possible interest.
